Romans 12:2

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Sweet Blessings!

There have been  times in my life when I am caught off guard with something unexpected and so sweet and simple that Jesus did, and in all His wonder and goodness allowed me to be a part of it.

He just touches my heart in a fresh way and I'm humbled by His goodness!

In the last couple of years Charlie and I have prayed that the Lord would allow us to be a part of something He was doing.
We were weary of asking Him to be a part of things we thought we wanted.

Once we changed from our focus from being on us and what we wanted.....and turned to Him and His will, He just opened the flood gates of opportunity to be BLESSED in ways we could not even know to ask for!!!

The other night we got to hear clips of people's testimonies of how God brought us together.
As a group, we gathered to give God glory and give testimony to what and how God  has brought us together to be part of something He is doing.
It was fun to hear the testimony of each individual and how God has worked in our lives to bring us to this point, at this particular place and time.

One of the projects that God has allowed Charlie to be a part of this year has been to help build our church building.
He has been honored by the privilege.
I think he would say that hands down, it's been the most meaningful thing he has ever had the opportunity to build.
To think that God would let him use the gifts and talents that He has given him, to build a building where we gather as a church body, to worship our Lord Jesus, is pretty sweet indeed.

Now to end the year and start the new year, we get to go to Uganda and be a part of some crazy BLESSED ministries and people that God has allowed us to be a part of,  on the other side of the world.

We are BLESSED and humbled, by the opportunity to GO and to bring a lot of our family and a few friends to share the experience with.

He has poured out His blessing to allow us in all our flaws  and weaknesses to be a part of
some really cool stuff that He is doing here and there!

Matthew 5:14-16English Standard Version (ESV)

14 “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house.16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that[a] they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
